Dr. Aaron Shakarian

• This is to thank you for the dramatic difference you've made in my health in the time you've been treating me. At 66, I've suffered for years with constant pain in my lower back and neck, the results, I believe, of a number of sports injuries and motorcycle accidents, aggravated by a bit of arthritis. Since I've been under your care, my pain is nearly gone, my posture has improved and my general sense of well-bing has completely changed for the better. • My one deepest regret is that I didn't find you sooner. As you know I'm 68 years old and for over 45 years, since being a youngster, I could not even turn my neck. Doctors and X-rays repeated the same diagnosis, "arthritis". Then you came into my life and not only can I turn my neck completely to the left and right, my back, hips, and legs have never moved better and I even grew 1/3 of an inch! My 93 year old friend said after one visit she was able to run down the street. When before the treatment she was barely able to make it down the block to your office. She said, "I can breath and I can see clearer after only 1 treatment". She even said, "He's a god", although I can't go that far. I have to agree you are a sure close second to me. • In August 2006, I made a trip to Los Angeles, California to meet with a client. Two days before traveling, I injured my lower back while pushing myself to complete 125 situps on an exercise machine. Upon arriving in California, and sitting confined to an airplane seat for 5 hours, I could barely stand straight or walk without being in pain. Luckily a friend recommended me to see Dr. Aaron Shakarian. I got in for an adjustment, I was able to bend over and touch my toes without pain, and walk straight again due to immediate relief. • I came to Dr. Aaron in severe pain in my right shoulder it would pop in and out of place and it was very hard to even lift my arm. It all started after I fell 8 months ago. I am 94 years old and before seeing Dr. Aaron I went to an orthopedist that told me that I was suffering from arthritis and tendinitis. He recommended and I complied with having a cortizone shot, rehab 2 times per week over several months , and pain killers 2 times a day. After all of that time, it wasn't getting any better and my orthopedist told me to no longer take the pain killers anymore because of the damage it could be doing to my health. So the orthopedist gave me another corizone shot that did not work, and that is when I decided to see Dr. Aaron. God bless him, the shoulder is no longer poping in and out of place and I am no longer in pain. It has now been 2 months and it is still doing great!! Dr. Aaron is a life saver. (Flora Rubin)

• When I first went to Dr. Shakarian my back constantly hurt and I had a large curve at the base of my spine. I often had trouble sleeping because my back hurt so much, and I did not like to travel because I would hurt for days. At first I was going to Dr. Shakarian three times a week, and we did muscle work and adjustments. Dr. Shakarian took the time to explain the treatments, and spent extra time with me during days when I was in extra pain. After two weeks my back started to feel much better. As time went on I felt the knots release, and was having much easier sessions. I started sleeping better and could feel stress melting away. I literally felt less stress in my back and my life. At some point Dr. Shakarian felt my low back and we realized my curve was gone. When I travel the pain I feel is greatly reduced, and is completely gone after an adjustment. I highly recommend Dr. Shakarian to anyone that has an imbalance that needs to be corrected. I am now a firm believer in the therapeutic effects of chiropractic. (Elizabeth Braman)

• Before I first came in, I could not make it through one day without getting headaches and neck pain. After a few sessions with Dr. Aaron, I was able to feel less pain which made my days at work go by much faster. After only a couple of months, I am at the point where I feel back to normal and only need to come in to be adjusted every other week. Dr. Aaron has really helped me and I would recommend anyone with any discomfort to come in and see if he can assist you. • I am an event designer and I also do interior designing. I spend many hours hunched over sewing machines and design tables. It's very physical work, from running up and down ladders to carrying very heavy props. On the first of May 2006, after sewing and installing a client's drapes, I was standing back to admire my work when suddenly a shooting pain as if I had been stabbed in the back collapsed my entire body to the floor of my client's home, where I laid paralyzed for an hour until my upholsterer found me. Unable to walk I made it home and called Dr. Aaron Shakarian's office. From the moment the phone was answered by their fabulous receptionist, Judy, I knew I had found the right chiropractor. Dr. Shakarian first made me get x-rays and then upon returning to his office began working on my back. He explained to me that my body had shut itself down because I was not taking care of it. My vertebrae had gone out of alignment and pinched a nerve. I was in such severe pain that I couldn't do anything but lie in bed. Through his excellent techniques and a months worth of appointments, I am back to my old self, better than ever. I was really frightened and almost positive I would have to have surgery. But thanks to Dr. Shakarian I am better than new. I would recommend him to anyone who is suffering from any type of back pain. (Bradley Picklesimer)

•  I have seen Dr. Aaron off and on for several years now.  I am now in my 60's and want to keep my spine flexible.  Recently I developed a sever case of vertigo, and it lasted for about a week.  I couldn't rise from a lying positon to a sitting position without the room swirling.  Sometimes just rolling over in bed brought on the vertigo and the room would spin for several minutes.  I explained my situation to Dr. Aaron, and he did some manipulation around the back of my ear.  I couldn't believe it because when I got up from the table I wasn't   dizzy anymore.  It has been over a month now and still to this day I have not had one bout of vertigo since.
